Representatives of Palanga airport inform that  on June 4, SAS will begin flying direct from Copenhagen to Tel Aviv. The route is one of 28 that SAS is opening in 2012. SAS flies their passengers from Lithuania to Copenhagen 19 times per week from Vilnius and 13 times per week from Palanga.

Ruta Juciene, Representative Manager of SAS from Lithuania explained: “We see increasing need for routes to and from the Middle East. So we want to offer to our customers the option of flying to Tel Aviv all year round”.

According to Representative Manager of SAS there is a strong connection between Lithuania and Israel. A lot of Jewish descendants, who lived in Lithuania and now they are located in Israel, come to visit their relatives and friends. Also business connections between Israel and Lithuania are also developing, therefore the new route to and from Tel Aviv will attract both tourists and business people.L’ora legale live streaming film
