Electronic services in Lithuania reach almost 80%

According with department of Statistics in Lithuania almost the 82.7 percent of Lithuania’s state and municipal institutions provide first-level electronic services via the Internet, which means that information about their functions and services is available on their websites.

Various forms were available for downloading from 59.6 percent of institutions and filled-in forms could be returned electronically to 15.7 percent of institutions. Some 18.4 percent of institutions offered to handle standard administrative procedures electronically, without additional paper work.

Some 10.2 percent of institutions provided certain electronic social or economic services automatically, without requiring a separate application and by using a user’s available registration data.
